Our story

G&G Janitorial is a locally owned, family-operated professional cleaning company built on decades of hands-on experience and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way. What began as a small residential cleaning service has grown into a trusted provider of commercial and residential cleaning services for homes and businesses across Ontario and Alberta.

Our story started in the early 1996, when Rita Gianello founded Rita’s Cleaning Service with a simple goal: to deliver reliable, detail-oriented cleaning with honesty and care. By focusing on strong client relationships and consistent quality, the business grew steadily through word of mouth and long-term partnerships.

As demand increased, we expanded by acquiring and operating respected local cleaning companies, including Spar-Clean, Clean4Me, and New Image Cleaning. Each acquisition allowed us to strengthen our team, refine our systems, and broaden the range of services we offer — from office and commercial cleaning to residential, move-in/move-out, and renovation cleaning.

Today, these operations have been unified under one name: G&G Janitorial. While our brand has evolved, our values have stayed the same. We continue to provide dependable, high-quality cleaning services backed by real accountability, clear communication, and a hands-on approach.
